“Bridges to Innovation: Building Your Toolkit for Latino Success”

This year, the Latino Affairs Commission hosted its 5th annual Latino Education Summit. The event was our largest yet, with over 300 teachers, administrators and community leaders convening to foster dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing Ohio's Hispanic students. The full-day summit featured 19 workshops, networking sessions, a panel, and speeches from ODE Superintenent of Public Instruction Paolo DeMaria and University of Cincinnati AVP and Dean of Students Dr. Juan Guardia.

We are especially grateful to the Ohio Department of Education and the University of Cincinnati for their contributions to the summit. We'd also like to recognize Prospanica Cincinnati and Miami University as partners for this event.
