“Domestic Violence in the Hispanic Community” a Spanish Language Public Awareness Video

“Domestic Violence in the Hispanic Community” a Spanish Language Public Awareness Video
This short video examines the problem of domestic violence in the Hispanic community here in Cincinnati and offers ways for women to find help by identifying resources and presenting basic rights information. A highlight of the video is “a Survivor’s Story,” which features a Hispanic domestic violence survivor talking openly about her experience with abuse, finding shelter, legal issues and employment help she received from the YWCA. The video is in Spanish with English language subtitles.

After the viewing, we will present a panel of local Hispanic domestic violence experts to discuss the video with the audience.
The film is in Spanish with English subtitles. There will be an interpreter present in case anyone does not speak English.
