Hispanic Legislative Visit Day 2018

2018 Ohio Hispanic Legislative Visit Day was the largest to date, convening 300 community leaders, students and elected officials from across the state to foster dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing Ohio's Hispanic community. The full-day event included legislative panels, lobbying and policy workshops, a networking luncheon, a keynote address, and breakout sessions on topics ranging from Immigration and Civil Rights to Electing Latinos to Office.
Nearly 90 students from Trotwood-Madison, Whitehall Yearling and Columbus West High Schools, as well as Columbus Bilingual Academy attended the event and we are immensely grateful for their participation and leadership.
