Description of Services:
Columbus State provides Central Ohio residents the educational opportunities they need to get to the next phase of their career - whatever that may be. First, you can go here and get a two-year associate degree in a Career & Technical field, which qualifies you for a job immediately. Or, you can get an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science, which represents the first two years of a bachelor's degree and you can transfer to another college. Third, we offer a variety of short-term training opportunities and continuing education through our Community Education and Workforce Development division. Check out our Majors and Programs for more on our offerings.
Our Community Education and Workforce Development division offers continuing education classes, licensure courses and personal enrichment courses. Online courses fall under Distance Learning, and programs for high school students fall under K-12 Initiatives.

Global Diversity and Inclusion: By collaborating with other offices and groups on campus, the Global Diversity and Inclusion Department seeks to support our diverse community, build relationships and provide educational opportunities. Our efforts include cultural celebrations, employee development, support/membership groups, campus training and much more.
