OLANET

The "OLAnet" is the Ohio Latino Network Directory, which can be used to find local Latino Serving Organizations near you.

Navigate through the directory by using the drop down arrow in the upper left-hand corner to filter and sort by county, type of service or organization, etc. The directory provides access to the organization’s website, social media and other contact information. 

OLAnet Policy

Purpose

The OLAnet directory of the Ohio Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs is a tool designed for the use of the Office of Hispanic/Latino Affairs. As such, the Office controls the content, sets all database policies, and reserves the right to include or excludes individuals, entities, agencies, and organizations on the basis of the needs of the Office in executing the mission of the Ohio Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs. This database and search tools are made available via the internet in the public interest and in the spirit of Ohio's Sunshine Laws. As such, the database is an information-only internal document and does not constitute any type of endorsement of individuals, entities, agencies, or organizations by the Office or the Commission. Furthermore, there is no such entitlement to any person or entity to have an entry in the database.

Requirements

Any individual, organization, agency, or business must fulfill one of the following requirements to be to the directory of Hispanic serving organizations.

  • Hispanic-owned and operated
  • Latino community as a primary or exclusive focus
  • Mission statement article specifically addressing service to Hispanic Ohioans
  • Engaged in an initiative to increase capacity to better serve the Latino community
  • Not-for-profit (except where noted)
  • Must be able to partner with the Commission on a basis of substantially-compatible mission, purpose, or project-level collaboration

Additions

How to submit an organization for consideration:

  1. Email OCHLA.OLAnet@ochla.state.oh.us indicating your interest to be added  
  2. A informational form will be emailed to you for your completion
  3. Your form will be reviewed to determine if requirements are met.
  4. If approved, your organization will be added to the directory and you will receive confirmation via email.
